Can anyone tell me the correct driveshaft length (u joint to u joint) for a 1967 Coronet with a 440 , a833 four speed and an 8 3/4 rear? The original is from a 318/727 with 8 3/4 and has the large weight on it. Don't think this is correct. Help!

1967 Coronet: looks like the "original" should be fine.

(727 or 4-speed) & 8-3/4" rear - should be - 52-1/32" lg.

With an 8.75 rear the shaft should be just slightly over 51 inches long from the center of the yoke eye to the center of the opposite yoke eye. If you upgrade to a Dana you will need to shorten it by an inch.
Update: Well, the parts manual says 51 and the service manual says 52 inches? Either I'm reading one of them wrong or one of them has misinformation.
