Georgia, United States,
I recently had any accident in my 1966 Plymouth Belvedere so i had to buy a donor car to fix my car. Well the donor came with a 318 and i see no reason to waste a perfectly good motor car fired up and ran well nothing wrong just the car was a 4 door sedan. My question is how much power can i get out of a 318. I want to make the ultimate sleeper but you never here anyone running a 318 so is it possible to make big power with a 318 and how?

Is it a poly or an LA? We ran our Challenger with a 318LA and 150hp gas. Would go 12.7's 110+ in full street, 3700lb trim. Caught out a few big blocks back in the day . On the motor it would run low 14's (14.1 best I think).
Excellent candidate for a low buck turbo build IMHO

It's a poly "A", with solid lifters.
Things can be done, and they cost money - like everything else.
