I need to restore my jack and it was an originally a gray color. Where can I get a can of spray to match that particular gray. Thanks

What I did was take the jack base to the hardware store and found the grey non-sandable primer in a rattle can closest to the original grey paint. I then sprayed clear over the primer. It came out very close to the original color and the grey primer and clear were about a $1 a can, so it was cheap.

I have a friend that works at Square D. making control boxes. He can buy their gray paint in the spray can at cost, it is the exact color of the original jack. Not sure if it is available on the market, if you can find it you will be surprised how close it is.

Dupli-Color Dove Gray touch up paint at your local auto parts store, I think the number is EDSFM167, almost an exact match.

Dove gray has been superceded with Stone gray.
