Just bought a set of these and now I'm hearing that there are some failure reports. Dang! They will be going into a mostly stock 440 that will see 90% street duty and a little weekend racing...never above maybe 5000rpm. They must be at least a little better then stock bolts...no? Any comments?

Suposedly...there was a bad batch of them many years ago.Almost 10 years ago at least. Can't say for sure.I think IMHO,that in your application they will be fine.

hi
i have used them with no problems at 6500 rpm
may times .

however i always look over the nuts very carefully with a magnifying glass as i did get one set once that had cracks lengthwise in the nuts , prob a problem with bad heat treating procses ?

I've used them numerous times over the years, never had a problem ever, and I run the engines up to the valve float limiter many a times too...

I heard years ago of many ARP rod bolt failures, it makes me wonder where the stories come from to be truthful....
