hi again mopar land.was told to knock the weights off torq convertor because of a bad vibration(85 318 in place of a 74 360) 727 trans.any suggestions on a simple way to get the weight off??i started drilling the spot weld but slow going thank six

4" grinder,,, be carefull

You can use either an air or electric hand grinder with a cutoff disc.If you have a disc that is almost used up(small diameter) you will be able to work in the tight space.After you grind the small welds use a chisel or screw driver and it will pop off.Wear goggles or safety glasses!
