Nothing percise I've seen them crooked, farther back, and only on one side of the windows. I would shoot for finding another car and measuring the decals. Sorry not the best answer for placement but it's the only one I have.

Thanks John. When you say: "and only on one side of the windows." do you mean only one decal on one window on one side of the car? Not two decals, one on each side of the car.
I have two decals and thought that both rear quarter glass windows each had an "Air Temp" decal?

Thanks John. The '68 rr is a RM23 hardtop but now I see they are only on the passenger's side and to the bottom rear of the quarter glass. Now I don't know if I'm even going to put it on because my young son sits next to that window when we crusie and it will block some of his view......

Thanks for the photos everyone 
this weekend, get very little sleep and put the second one on Monday morning about 7:10 am after about four cups of coffee and a half of a pack of smokes so I can get this one a little closer to right
