Where can I get hold of a set of new torsion bars smaller than .920" diameter for an early B body? This seems to be the smallest size bars that most on-line parts suppliers list. However, I'm building a F.A.S.T. style car and would like a set of 6 cylinder bars for better weight transfer.
Thanks.

MP used to have .840 drag bars but they were discontinued some time ago. They show up in the swap section here from time to time.

Without doing any digging, there's this source which has even smaller bars:

Slant six bars should be fairly esy to find or fire up the lathe and turn down a set of bars.

Check with a company called Firm Feel. Just bought a set for a '66 Coronet. .820 diameter, at the track in a week and will find out if they work like I'm hoping. IIRC they were $345.00 a set.

Thanks for that guys, I check with Firm Feel.

Hemidudejr, please let us know how you go at the track, especially if you think the smaller bars helped.
