Hey fellas. My brother has started a bet with me. He has a 93 F-150 with a 460 stroker motor in it. He has built himself a strong motor. Cobra jet heads about a 580ish hyd roller cam. He claims to be around 625hp. He says there's no way i cant get a dodge (truck) to compete with him for the money he's got in that truck. Maybe he's got a point. Of course i didnt back down and said "i bet i can". Not sure how much $$ he got in it but i think its less than 10 grand in the whole combo (truck and engine). Those BB fords are hard to beat for the money. I think i can build something quicker anyway. I was wondering about a late 90's street truck build Dodge of course but dont know which motor 440 or 360 would be the way to compete with that big ol motor of his. What yall think?

Build a stock motor with forged internals and spray it with a 250-300 shot.Let him tell everyone how a small block beat him.

Seriously, what does his truck run?Need to know the benchmark. If he can't get it to hook you won't need near as much motor as long as you can hook.

racing. He doesnt have times yet but he's thinking if he gets it to hook it will be low 8's or high 7's.
