I have a couple dual mt tails that are aluminum. One of them has been coated with a cast iron powder. Some one was "bending" the rules a long time ago.

dual mount tail is a 70-74 B/E and later pickup/van
A-833 O.D. 4-speeds used in vans did come with dual pattern tail housings as John said, but I've only ever seen them with cast iron housings, not aluminum. FWIW, here's a pic of my '86 A-833:

yes they are casting numbers that are basicly USELESS in trying to identify a transmission ...
but since this is an all alum case trans ?????

Here's a pic of the RH side of an aluminum main case:
See the raised pad that is machined smooth and stamped with some characters? Look at the pad on your main case and let us know what is stamped there. For reference, here's a stamped pad up close:
