The spool is a great expense i could do without, why is a spacer not a viable option. Mick

We went from 4.56's to 4.10's with a spool and did not need a spacer. Richmond makes a gear set that will fit (69-0052-1). Motor is alot happier and ET's were the same.

Thanks for the replies. Last year i blew the motor, so i dont want this motor revving to the moon for longevity reasons. Mick
