Depends on what's done to it. They can be pretty quick with minimal work. Friend of mine had one, his daily driver, running 11s w/ just a few bolt ons and some drag radials.

I think low 14s stock but it doesn't take much to make them fast. The worst part of it is they all look the same and for the most part sound the same. Its a gamble calling one of those out if you know nothing about it.

they are nothing to mess with if you havent seen them run. I've been schooled by a couple back in the mid 90s, they looked like my grammas car. buick makes good combos, if I didnt have my mopar, I'd have a Buick, or Pontiac.....if I couldnt have them, I'd quit it it all and ride a Harley.
My years of riding FAST Kawasaki bikes have come to an end....on a harley at least my kids will have a dad.... and I can still resell it for what I paid. Can you ride your rocket to Sturgis? I dont scoff the performance of Jap, bikes believe me....but I'm more relaxed now.

Even if you get one to go fast , they will never stop or turn. ( The Harley , not the Buick ) I got off a tweaked Ducati Monster to my Harley because of an overwhelming desire to keep my drivers license. It was such a pig that I tore into it with 11 miles on the clock and made it better.........80 r.w.h.p. with 80 inches. Now , it sports 110 inches and around 125 h.p. , runs on pump gas , and is pretty fast for a Harley. Quicker than a lot of Buick G.N.'s I bet. But I have seen those Buicks fly with no obvious tells. It is definitely a crap shoot.

watch out for those gn's. they can be extremely fast. i've driven a couple. they were fun. the stock one was an eye opener.
for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

We have one, bought it brand new in 87. Ran 13.96 back in 88 at Ardmoore OK, bone stock. Dad has kept it in a time capsule, has 39,000 miles on it. We used to attend the Buick Nationals in Ennis. Be very careful calling one of these out. They can be a handful......

I own one of these cars so I'll tell you with my own personal experience.
My Buick has a Stage 2 engine with stage 2 heads. It's almost like Buicks version of the mopar preditor heads but from 80's vintage race parts. Well anyway, my car is a proven 9 second sreet car that passes CT emmsions every two years when its required to go. I am now shooting for 8's with some small changes. I'm sure the car your racing may not be as built up as mine, but if it is dialed in, should easily be good for low 12's with a stock turbo and short block. Allan G.
1970 Challenger w/572 Hemi street car and my pride and joy.
1986 T-Type with 272 Stage 2 Buick V6 engine - True 8 second street car. Just updated the engine and put down 928 HP @ 35# boost to the ground on chasis dyno.

A friends T-type (GN in sheeps clothing) was grandma gray and had full interior, no cage etc. Looked like something you would find on a really clean used car lot.
Car ran 10.80's on DOT stickies! Traction was the main issue.
Car pulled like no street car I've ever ridden in.
