I removed my old one...Carter...it works...but I want to keep it as a spare and don't want to varnish the inside of it. Is there anything I can pour into it to "cleanse it" so I can put it in a box in case I need it in the future?

I would watch out for WD-40 sometimes it does not play well with rubber. I have see it swell rubber o rings and gaskets. I would think if it is drained completely you would be OK maybe run some Sta-bil fuel stabilizer through it. Scott

Cool...I'll drain it out.....Blow some compressed air through it...blow some carb spray through...Blow it out again...and drip some sta-bil into it and cap off the ports.
Thanks
