Well I got it to the track and it ran pretty much as expected. the best run was 12.59 @109 with a 1.99 60 ft. the car is extreamly traction limited as I expected with the street tires that are on it. Next step is gears and slicks. Everything else went good with no failures except for my battery going dead after the second run.

Warmed over leftovers would be my good friends 67 ply satilite that I put togather as payment for a 64 sport fury that he gave me. He got this thing off of e bay for a song but it was in shambels. The car has everything out of the insides, It runs a stock stroke 440 030 over with TRW 2295 pistons and the rest of the bottom end is unknown. The top end has iron stage 4 mopar heads with stock valves (from a 75 new yorker) a 528 solid cam and 6 pac intake with old DC carbs that all have acc pumps. Looks like 1 7/8 headers with a 727 by ziggys trans. 3.91 gears in the rear. I ran on street tires last weekend but my friend has already gotten slicks (28x9x15) that i will mount tomarrow. I think the only thing on the motor or car for that matter that is aluminum is the distrubitor. I call it warmed over left overs because I put this car togather with all the leftover parts in my garage from all past projects.

A 12.59 isnt too bad for a 1.99 60 on street tires

It's a work in progress. As I said my friend just picked up slicks today and will be on tomarrow. He plans to take it to the track fri and run it again . I could not come out of the hole at more than 1000 rpm or ti would just spin. the tires should help alot. I will keep poast in times as we tune it.
