msd 6al2 it quit firing last night. the led light blinks on the msd unit while turning the motor over but no spark from coil wire I unplug the pickup module wire and the led just stays on so I think the pickup is working fine and I changed coils but maybe both are bad so I have another on the way to try is there anything else to check . need this thing working so I can make to the track tonight to see what this thing will run.

My MSD box went bad in the first round at the Sunday race of the Pittsburgh Chrysler Classic. Frustrating, cost me the round and a couple of races the following weeks.
Sent it back to MSD and they said it had a shorted out timing board. Cost $93.00 plus shipping to fix.

Apparently they are fused inside, has anyone repaired one before.

No fuse inside box , i've repaired a couple of boxes whereby the resister got burnt out , easy fix on those boxes , would have struggled to fix if burnt componant was'nt staring me in the face.
