Aaaahem............Now that I have your attention....How in the heck do you get the heater hose / by pass hose nipples / bungs out of an intake???? I tried a pipe wrench and some heat but bent it.. doh! is there an easier way? or should I just buy new???

Maybe you should wax the nipples....... Then try twisting the nipples........

Seriously, heat them then melt candle wax into them, sometimes it frees them up so they will unscrew..

I just made special tools out of 1" hex stock to do this, I'm surprised someone does not make and market them.

Actually, they do. Designed for the plumbing industry, they fit inside the nipple, and expand outward, applying pressure on the nipple wall.
I know that Rectorseal sells them.

If you applied the heat to the nipples, that where you failed,...heat needs to be applied to the casting surrounding the thread of the nipple,...yes they can be a bear sometimes, but heating the casting is usually the best results for really bad "nipples"

I worked on a couple of stubborn nipples recently.
Weld an old 1/2" drive socket to it, while still hot, spray some penetrating lube around it, then use a 1/2" drive breaker bar for leverage, heat from welding helps break it loose.
