I was out and about and figured now that I had my new engine going I would see about changing the oil etc.

This brought up the perpetual problem of lack of zinc.

I went to a parts house and asked if they had a zinc replacement and they had this new stuff. In a hurry and I needed it then so I bought it.

It is by these guys:http://www.hyperlube.com/

They claim it replaces zinc, but it does not contain it. It supposedly works with catalytic convertors and is compatible with all oils. It also states that it has twice the wear protection of high zinc content oils. If it does what it says it does it should be great.

Is this stuff decent? Anyone with experience with it? The pamphlet that comes with it sounds pretty good, but then people can say anything.....

I think I'm going to try it.

I have no experience with this additive, but if it does not effectively replace zinc and phosphorus, or their capabilities, it could turn out to be an expensive experiment.
