I have two nearly identical console, slide in, pistol grips. Both have 7174 on the rev. lever and 6356 on the front of the box... But one says "Competition Plus" and the other doesn't. Are these the same, just produced at different times in the run?

I just sold a Challenger Slip style that had the 7180 Reverse lever that just said Hurst. My shifter in my 70 Challenger has the 7180 lever and says Competition Plus. I wondered the same thing when I saw it.

Don't know if this helps.

I knew the 7174 was what I needed for my car, just don't know if there is any difference in the shifter's performance? "Comp Plus" vs.just "Hurst"
