One other question I have is in regards to Torsion Bars.

I had a Mopar friend of my adjust the Torsion bars about two years ago. The car looked like it was sitting up too high.

He made adjustments and gave the car a real nice looking profile stance.

Now two years latter I just notice that the drivers front and rear is a little higher than the passenger side front an rear. All air pressure in the tires is exact.

So, can the adjustment he made on the torsion bars go bad are adjust them selves after time?

How difficult is it to re-adjust the torsion bars.
And for the dumb question: 1) Where is the torsion bars? 2) Where and how do I make the adjustments.

I could call him up but I want to start to learn some of this stuff on my own.

the torsion bar acts as the spring

the adjustment didnt go bad, most likely the spring has lost some of its strength

they are very easy to adjust

get a 3/4 socket on a 1/2" drive with a 3" extension

the adjuster bolt is located under the lower control arm, facing down towards the street

if you want a side of the car to be higher, just tighten the bolt clockwise + it will raise the height

to lower, loosen the bolt, counter clockwise

Jack the front of the car up and let the wheels hang before adjusting.

Then lower it and roll it forwards and back each way then recheck.

After adjusting the torsion bars, be sure to have the alignment checked...
