I pulled the side window out of the driver's door, lubed the mechanism, and reinstalled it...worked fair...then the gear slipped the next day as it was so tight to crank again. Also, the glass seems to drop too far when down...didn't see any lower stop in the door.
What do I need to do to get the windows to raise more easily?
Brad

Thank you Moparts for the help!

Hard to say with out seeing the thing in action, but I would inspect all the slides and grooves and wheels and what ever else moves in there. Check for alignment and binding or twisting in all positions. Usually an inspection of the action with the door panel and dust shield off will reveal the cause of the difficulty. Flex from worn mechanisms can cause exactly what you are describing.

Careful, your character's showing!

Thanks, I'll take it apart again, but check it more carefully for alignment, etc..

Never had any luck. Installed electric-life power windows that included new regulators. Fine now.
