It depends on the car actually.... And if they are installed properly.

Dont like. Takes away from the clean wedge look of the exposed lower valance. I also dont like front license plates on these cars but love them on 69 b's and Dusters... You asked

i totally agree. i dont like it when the side of the spoiler is almost touching the body line, i like it about 2-3 inches lower.

personally i like them alot. we have them on our 72 satellite. i want them on our 71 roadrunner but my wifes not sure.

I hate when people install them too "flat", they need to be angled. I also think they "go better" on cars with (obviously) the rear wing and the air grabber hood. When I bought my car, I thought about taking them off when it got repainted, but like I said, I think they go well with the wing and the hood.

Mike, I like the 71-72 chin spoilers a lot but loath Go-Wing rear spoilers. In my opinion rear spoilers don’t belong on Mopar muscle cars unless of course it’s a Superbird/Daytona.

Oh yes, back to your question. Now that I look the 71 and 72 in your signature pics, I think your wife might have a point. I can see the chin spoilers on the 72, but the Road Runner, not so sure…

BTW, will I see you at Rogers show on Thursday?

I like the chin spoilers on RR's with the elastomeric/painted bumpers. They look right at home on there. With the chrome bumper + chin spoilers, there's a bit too much going on IMO.

Or how about Duck Tail

Forgive me, my usage and expression drops off dramatically after the 1970 model year

I like them and the go-wing as well. When I did my car I wanted that period 70's look so bright paint , colored bumpers , 72 style stripe and converted to manual trans. Probably not what some would have done to a numbers matching GTX but its the way I like it.

i just measured our pink car and the tip is about 1.75 inches from the body line. i looked through some pictures on line and see what you mean about the flat ones. they almost run parellel with the body line.
