Heard about in line catalyst fuel cells that go after the filter increasing octane. They supposedly make 87 regular gas like 93 . You recon they work?

I believe the could work for a while.
ion exchangers and such are an old technology.

BUT how long and for how much would be the question.

Horsepower tv or one of those shows on spike show them hooking it up to a dyno engine, with 93 octane, without it, and 87 octane with it, and showed something to "prove" it worked.

But of course the question is for how long? not how long does it say it works, but how long does it really work.

A guy used to sell an empty box for 20 bucks and called it a radar jammer. Found less than 20 percent of the people bothered to get their money back.

Back when it was just X,K,Ka bands there was a jammer which sent out false wide radar waves. Causing the Speedgun to read ERR, ---, and OFL on most brands of high end service meters. If you had a diplomat or fifth ave and equiped , people thought you were a cop because you would set of other radar detectors. Now nothing works for early radar detection. when they see you , you see them.
