What are the best clutches to use for a 727 and why? Is it blue raybestos or the alto red eagle clutches or something else?

I think the alto red eagle clutches are the most commonly used in HP builds, and they are less expensive that the Raybestos Blue Plate clutches. http://www.altousa.com/hiperftech.htmI just Googled Raybestos, and it looks like they have a new "Stage-1" Red performance clutch, but a search does not come up with anyone listing these or what they cost?

in my opinion the Blues are a big waste of money the reds hold up well buty for most applications the reagular tan Raybestos will do just fine.

I've abused the heck out of Raybestos tan's on a street strip car with big smokey burnouts, long trips and you name it and the car did it. I pulled it apart to inspect it after a friend bought the car and was installing a Hemi. You could still read Raybestos and the dated stamping on all the clutches!
