We buy a lot of used tires from the wrecking yard for our used cars. Mount and balance them ourselves. Along with Douglas, the Coopers and Mastercrafts are absolutely the worst tires that we deal with. They may make a line of higher end tires that I haven't ran into, but for the most part they are very, very poor quality. Many aren't even round! The Mastercrafts, for some reason, are the cord bustingest things I have ever seen. Unless they are like new, I usually won't let the yards send me Coopers, Mastercrafts, or Douglases. Heck, the Chinese PrimeWells have done better than those brands in my experience.
Master, again and still
