Tom Fox member T Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 146 florida/ Georgia	I have always used standard rings and file to fit them. with file to fit ring with Hyper pistons, you end up doing a lot of unnessary fileing and wasted money.

RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,040 Lincoln Nebraska	generally file fit rings are not needed w hypers as they require a healthy top ring gap (.0065") per inch of bore for street normally aspirated iirc and normal 2nd ring gaps. I like .003" per inch on 2nd rings but alot prefer looser. File fit rings are expensive & dont waste your funds if you dont have to. Mancini has them live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
