Info should be posted tomorrow (8-19) about this event. We will be allowed in the gate Friday nite after 10:00pm. You can camp at the track for the weekend, as well as leave your rig at the track if you are staying at a hotel.
Sat tentative sch. Gates open @ 8:00am. Time Trials begin @ 9:00am. Eliminations planned to start before noon for the Mopars vs The World.
Sunday sch. Gates open @ 8:00am. Time Trials at 11:00am
Check the Chrysler Classic or Kil Kare web site tomorrow as they are hoping to have everything posted then.
This is the latest info I have gotten within the last hour.

Usually its not a problem. Every CC race except Norwalk last year you get one T.T. then straight into Elims.

Well. You seem to have the pulse on the kil kare race. What are they going to do with the 10-0 shoot out index for the 1/8 mile?

Thanks. Thats what I have been told. My car usually 60 foots at 6.36 at 10.00 but I;ll add some weight depending on the weather.

I had a Chebby one time that ran 6.36 in 60 feet....

Yes you can show up & race on Sunday without being there on Saturday if you'd like. Gates will open both days at 8:00am.

Don't really have much special. I did call CC Events with ?'s, left a message & they called me back today. Said they were racers, including myself needing some info. The lady I talked to was very helpful. She did say the 2 sites, theirs & Kil Kare's should be updated tomorrow with all pertinent info.

She is always nice to me on the Phone and very tentative to our Racing crews needs. Just wish the purse to win was more money to pay for the beer we drink ..

it doesnt have anything to do with me cause seems i cant cut a light any longer so i wont do any good lol but isnt that pro payout terrible. 70 dollar entry to run for 1200 and the semis only pay 75.

just looked at the norwalk payout and 70 dollar entry to run for 2000 and the semi finals at norwalk gets 300. i do understand there will be alot more cars at norwalk but how are you ever going to draw the cars if you dont pay anything. also they will cut the purse at killkare if not 200 mopars show up WOW

The CC web site is updated for pre-entry now. You can enter on-line until August 24 if you so desire. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

My son went to last 3 cars at Columbus,6 or 7 rounds and got $75.00 in Pro, his girlfriend went 1 round less, paid less to get in(sportsman)still went to semis and got 75.00 also. He said He was done with it. Won't be at Kil-Kare or Norwalk. Payout was something like $1400, $400, then $75. Semi's at a regular weekly race in Pro at Trails pays $125.00 with $650 to win.

a local bracket race in pro pays 150 to the semis with a 40 dollar entry. they wonder why the car count is down

at norwalk last couple of years they had 200 cars in pro. it should pay more

They finally have a schedule and entry fees posted on KK's website. Saturday they are cutting the entry in half for Mopars, not a bad deal, $20 entry for $1000 to win in Pro.

Just watch out for a black '72 Chevelle...
