Mopar diehard here true & true.Seems like the cost $ of drag racing is getting to much these days. With $50 entry fees and $35 buy backs in footbrake class.I can't see it.The other thing is when i get to the trac i can name 4 or 5 head that will win the race or be in the finals.I might as well hand them my moneys out of my pockit before i run a round.Any how.I've bout a boat and like to fish flounder/crocker/spots and lots of pinfish to name a few.

Nothing wrong with takin a break, it can be a good thing to do to kinda get your mind clear and prioritize. Besides, that "other" stuff sounds like some good eatin! Good luck.

I did the weekly bracket point chasing for many years and took a break two years ago. Now I am looking to build a new bracket car and get back in the game.

Taking a break can be a good thing.

I race when I want and where I want. I prefer to play the spoiler rather then chase points. It's so darn hot I decided to take summer as my "off" season and race 7-8 months of fall/winter/spring. That is when we have the best weather for racing anyhow. 150* track temps just don't excite me!
Like you I have a boat also and have enjoyed the heck out of it this summer!!
