I noticed the other day that my pinion angle has changed. My pinion snubber was about 1 1/2 inches below my floor pan. Now the snubber is up against the floor. My pinion seal is leaking now, great..just had the rear rebuilt bout a yr ago. Anyone ever had this issue? Everything looks straight. Could the issue be weak springs (which are original by the way).

Your getting wind up in your springs and when it goes
back to neutral(no load) its pointed down farther

how do i unwind or them or get them back to neutral? Makes drivin pretty rough, no rear suspension travel. When i hit a bump the snubber is up to the floor so it feels like im riding on blocks.

Did you look to see if the spring perches on the rearend housing are bent or broken?

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

I can just about bet that the housing is twisting.

I don't think he is making enough power to do that he is running stock springs. He probobly beat the snot out of them and they need replacing now.

What rear end? I've seen Dana's with broken plug welds spin the housing. The weld were springy enough to allow it to somewhat spring back, but not before destroying a drive shaft, pinion yoke and overrunning clutch. Could also be the perches, or fatigued springs.
