Hi,
Just purchased a new steering wheel to my 65 coronet. Unfortnely I missing the part which the horn ring should attach to. I have the correct horn ring, horn switch with tree screws and steering wheel.

Is this the adaptor/center piece I need?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/65-66...Q5fAccessories

What could I expect to pay for just the adaptor/center piece...

Thanks,
Cheers!

That link isn't showing anythign anymore. You have everything except the cap if I am understanding you corretly. IS that what a 65 coronet has, a round cap right?

Put the horn switch in place, then lay the metal ring peice over it, then place the three plastic bushings in the holes and attach with the three screws.

Hope that helped, but I may have missed something.

very clever dinner. appetizing food fit neatly into interesting round pie.

Yes the item in the pic is what you need. As far as price, I'm not sure but it shouldn't be more than about 20-30 dollars.

Looks like the only thing you're missing is the center cap.

The steering wheel who was in the car before had a round cap. That centrum have to large diameter and also nothing to attach the horn ring on. See picture.

Thanks

The gray metal ring is what the horn ring attaches to. The three tabs on the horn ring snap under the three raised portions of the gray ring.

You have to "spin" the horn ring onto the gray adapter to lock it on. Clockwise to put on, counter clockwise to remove.

The one I have is for center cap and dont have any "ears" to lock at.
