Yeah, there useless. send mwe yours and I'll rpelace it with a cast steel case that will take a lot of abuse Just kidding of course, all the old Mopar pro stock cars and a lot of the other drag cars used the Mopar aluminum main and tailshaft cases for racing

The tranny I have has an iron tail and just the box is aluminum DaytonaTurbo I read you thread how expensive are the parts to make these high hp friendly. I guess if those ork you can go 4.11 gears and ride on the freeway easily huh

I have done a few of these transmissions for a road raceing freind. we take the od guts out and put the 71and up gear sets in. but the thing that must be done is bush the counter shaft bores as all of the ones I have seen have been bad. I think the aluminum factory race trannys had bushings in them from the factory Ken
