I am putting hood pins on my 69 bee.Is there a specific location they go? Thanks for your input

are you talking about the lanyards? for 69 the rivets go at 12, 3, 6, 9 o'clock. the lanyards go at 3 o'clock on the drivers side (looking from the front of the car and 9 o'clock on the passenger side.

Just curious. I have been noticing that most hood pins(on steel hood cars) I have seen recently have the lanyards being inserted from the 6:00 position. I have always inserted mine from 3:00 and 9:00. No a big deal I guess but just curious what is correct.

I have various factory literature and brochures at home, and they all show the pins being inserted at the 6:00 position...
