2FASTCORONET OP member 2 Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 178 Sterling Hts, MI	I have a three wire altrernator in my car, can I run the heavy wire to the solenoid I have in the trunk and run it back to the front of the car and reconnect? Or is there a better way without rewiring my whole car for a one wire alternator? Thanks Dennis

Dodgem master Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 5,746 Ontario, Canada	You run the main heavy (and since its a long way I suggest #6 or # 4 wire straight to the battery + then though the cut off switch back to the battery and on to the starter solenoid. some put other stuff in the mix??

DennisJ super street D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 302 Casa Grande,Arizona	Leave the alternator wired up like it is supposed to be. run a field wire to the kill switch,or solenoid.Then run it back to thes alt. Dennis Jokela I started out with nothing,and I still have most of it.
