Two or three seconds is not unusuall on dual line Milidon sytems.
Both of mine do the same thing, nothing wrong with it. Been using them for several years w/ no issues.

This is thread # 50 on this topic with Milodon. With out a doubt that pump is the worst aftermarket pump for the BBD that was ever designed. Milodon has not addressed that priming problem for over 20 years ( why would they because you guys keep buying them ) Rant over Ya it does help putting ridiculously long pick up line and have it loop up to the valve cover , but it will still do it after a long sit anyways.

I ended up with check valves in my lines. I agree that there are better oiling systems.

I've never had any priming issues with mine sitting for long periods of time. On both of my motors, the lines never turn up, or go above the pump. Both actually point down as soon as they come out of the pump. One motor has the Milodon pump and cover, the other just has the Milodon cover on a Melling HV pump. It does take a couple or 3 seconds to get pressure on the gauge, but no more than that. No check valves, just -12 braided hose. Don't get me wrong, there's definitely some better stuff out there. Just sharing my experience.

2 or 3 seconds? I've had them take 10-15. There is no problem with 2 or 3 seconds.
