how much power difference is there on a 500 ci street , strip motor ? arond 9-1 comp, flat tappet cam. anybody ever run both and see?

There are some articles in the tech archives that I wrote where I dyno tested Edelbrock heads and then switched to Indy EZ heads.

andy i read the articles , how much power did you make with the ez heads stock before jeff worked his magic? great articles by the way.

OOTB EZ heads made zero additional power over the Eddy heads. Once the EZ heads were CNC ported then we picked up about 100 hp.

Cam, compression and engine size will all add into the mix but the 100 hp gain that Indy advertises is very real on the right shortblock.
