I am going to install a Comp Xtreme cam in my bone stock 318 this Winter. The cam is a .462/.470 lift. I'd like to pick up valve springs at the Nats if I see a good opportunity. What size springs should I be looking for? What brand would be good?

Thanks, I see that one listed on the box. I'll see what I can find.

you want comp 901-16

they are a single with damper

use stock retainers and stock seals
can be installed heads on the engine also

if the 318 heads have rotators on the exhast valves..ditch those and get 8 more intake retainers

the rotator limet the lift and add to coil bind measurement

you will know a rotater when you see it,thick and uses a shorter spring, its a bearing so the valve spins in the guide
