Hey Guys I have a set of 68 charger vent windows that need to go out for chrome and I have to remove the white metal edge for the chrome house so they can plate it... easy to do but,,, what methods has anyone used to re-attach the chromed portion after it is done, since the two factory "mushroom" studs will be impossible to reuse...
?? ideas ??

I used that two part epoxy that body shops use to weld on quarter panels on newer cars. I dont remember specifically what it is called but I think it is called panel bond. I put a set of vent windows for my friends Road Runner and it has survived 5 years later.

I now have the correct glass setting tape & instructions for reinstalling the wing glass available. Glass Setting Tape Rick
