Will a 239 / 3.9 OHV V6 Timing Components 87-91 3 Pc. set. Double roller, also fit a small block 318 LA????

Looks the same...look it up on rockauto; 1990 D150 3.9 and 5.2 and 5.9 all use the same timing set part number.

yes,you can use the chain tensioner for the v-6 also

it replaces the cam thrust plate with another plate and has the tensioner on it

takes 3 hands to install it with a new chain but is a good upgrade for the sb

sb are hard on the t-chains

I used one with a chain that had a coauple thousand miles and it went on mucho ez with a tad of slack on the chain

timming has been rock solid and no problems from it

that v-6 is a 318 with the 2 back cyls cut off anyways

Ok now I'm really confused the pic of the new one does not seem to have a keyway in the cam sprocket..but holes like for a chevy cam??? I just looked at my old double row and it has no holes just the keyway??

Cam sprockets are usually located by a locating pin(hence the small single hole outside the cam snout hole) Your timing chain gear also appears to be for a 3 bolt cam.
