Last time I was out with my 408 I ran 31 degrees total. I've run as high as 38, but it seems to like 31 best so far. Similar set up to yours - running ported iron rams 246 / 250 @ .050 with 108LSA. Running a tight quench @ about .035".
Fastest 300

Lots of variables here, head shape, compression fuels, cam timing , air temps, even a dyno session wont tell you whats best on the track, that's what test and tune is all about, I have run from 29 to 36 on my w5 rig and seems that 34 works for most conditions, I not saying its the best but it works
