Can anyone tell me if any company out there makes a fiberglass hood for a 69 charger with six pack hood scoop on it?

lots of company's make that. USBODY.com, has one. FWIW 6-pack scoops look bad on chargers. I checked out a bunch of options for my car, finially went w/ a cowl hood. For some reason it works the best. I guess because of the middle ridge and the body line of the car. I've also seen Hemi scoops that look pretty good.

Could it be 'cause the dual-dips in the hood ?.... that is why I made the mold where the drips were removed but the center body line was present.

That mold is HISTORY ... but if someone wants one just like that ...and can supply a finished steel hood like that to me ....

The fiberglass hood is FREE ....back to them.

dunno, just looks "off" on a charger. I hated the idea of useing a colw hood, but after looking at a bunch of charger hoods the cowl looked best. Sucks but I need some room. so ya do what ya need to do.

Cowl scoops follow the Charger lines better than the 6 pack . It matches the sharkish look of the car. I've always thought the best setup was Dick Landys 68 Charger with the 67 coronet s/s wide scoop... it dosnt have enough height though.

nobody, you have to order the hood and "glass it on" My buddy should be done w/ mine this weekend. If I can I'll post some pic's. My cowl is longer so it will be mounted more forward and hang about 2-3" over the cowl. You can get the hood and cowl together but it takes 8 weeks and costs about $800 w/o shipping!

Wow! Your comments aren't too positive. I guess I didn't get that bad of a deal on my crappy 6-pack hood, looks like I'm keeping it for a while. The hoods on USBody and AAR look better than what I got from UP22.
