440 block, Eagle crank, been together 3 years. Tore engine down, had mains turned .010, and align honed and put back together with same rear main seal. Primed engine on stand,(80 psi)& rear seal leaks, not the sides, just the seal. doesn't leak immediatley maybe a minute after i stop priming it, it will start dripping. I'm using a standard seal from Mancini Racing&10w-30 conventional oil.The seal is installed correctly, the lip facing inward. Could it be from having it align honed??
PSO headed 632 from MM. Cracked cylinder, loose valve seats, low oil pressure, low cylinder pressure. ..... Now its a door stop....

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt. www.MoparMisfits.com

Hmmm ... those instructions are word-for-word what comes with the 440Source retainer and seals. Could it be that not all their stuff comes from China after all ?!?! That would certainly be a disappointment to many bashers!
You are ASSuMEing alot in that statement , which is pretty much standard operating procedure for a source
