Can anyone help me with the proper diagram of a fuel line/ fuel filter installation from the pump to the carb. I have a 71 383 holley four barrel the original carb was replaced with an aftermarket one( edelbrock) the original fuel lines were gone. I now have the proper carb but all that anyone sells is a one piece fuel line. Is there a rubber hose from the pump to the filter then the steel line to the carb? I know to some of you this may sound screwed up but I am from the small block crowd that has steel from the pump to the filter and then steel from the filter to the carb. Thanks in advance for any help.

I think it's one piece steel. It hugs the manifold and the filter is in a terrible spot behind the alternator (as all Big Blocks) Do you have to have it look "stock"? I always re-run them to get them up off the manifold and get the fliter where I can easily get to it.

Yes I would like it to look stock. I know that the one piece line is correct I would like to see a picture or diagram of how the hose from the pump is run to the filter. Maybe when i get the proper line the filter location will be a given and I just have to route the hose from the pump to the filter the best way I see fit. Thanks
