I'm planning on attending( and winning ) the division 6 bracket finals in Sept. at Mission B.C. drag strip. What motels and restraunts are good to stay and eat at? BTW, I really need a good restraunt to take my wife out on Sept. 3rd for are 45th wedding anniversery, if she hasn't left, killed or divorced me by then This will be our first time to visit Canada, we do both have our passports so I would like to do some sight seeing as well as stay and eat in nice places. Thanks in advance for the help

Hi Cab, I'm at Mission Raceway running at the old time drags right now. You will love this track, it is a gorgeous park like setting and the track surface is by far the best I've ever run on. There are lots of good restaurants around here, like the Boston Pizza in the mall right across the highway.
You have lots to look forwards to.

From what I've heard & read, that track's got great air and the DA is often at sea level or below, right? Seems a lot of Stock & SS cars run very well there.

Cab: I haven't been there for a few years but if you like a good steak the Keg just off 200th in Fort Langley is great. Milestones in Abbotsford is good too and is pretty close to the track. There is also a Keg in Abbotsford that is good but not quite as good as the one in Langley. I don't know what the motel's are like as I lived in that area, usually Best Western's are an okay mix of value vs. cleanliness.

I will ask a few of my buddies who race there and live local. One guy is the king of eating out since he's been a bacheler all his life lol. And pray for no rain outs....

If you head to Vancouver I can help you out with places to see and eat.

I'm in Langley and there are quite a few good spots to eat..... but it's 1/2 an hour from the track....
There are a few good spots in Mission, but I haven't eaten anywhere in Mission for years and years. I wonder if the Mission Springs Pub is still open, and if it's still good food....

I'll have to wait until Sept to watch, but I'll bring you the trophy and flowers myself!!!!!!!!

Dang! Wish I had known you were here I could of stopped by and chatted with you. I have been up here since Thursday and raced both days, went out in the first round.

Cab, I am staying in the Best Western that is only a 1/2 mile away or so. Book it early.

Oh, by the way.... This is by far the best track I have ever raced at!

You can come to my house and I will cook you and your wife a nice hungarian dinner right after you help me on my car.

I'll be there as well, but can't really help with the high end restaurants as I don't know the area. Congrats on the anniversary.
