I am finally getting around to finishing a project car I bought a few years ago
it's a 69 sport satellite convertible. my kids refer to it as "car in the Box"
it's a rolling chassis numbers matching motor 383 motor has VIN stamped on it, trans is a date code for 69 no VIN, all numbers match on cowl trunk rail and rad support
problem is there is no build sheet and no fender tag the car is 85% there PS/PB I'm assuming deluxe interior (same as GTX), buckets, console
VIN is RP27H9G******
my question is what did the "premium" pricing include??
this is one of 41 cars made that year I'd like to do it right

I'm not an expert on this stuff but It's not really referring to the price as such, it's just another way of saying what model it is and price "class" it fits into. A fully loaded Sport Satellite would be P and a a Sport Satellite with no extra options would still be P. I would guess a regular Satellite would probably be M and Belvedere would be L. There were other letters used like H K T and S but I'm not sure what they all mean. I assumed S was special and H was high.

I had a 1 of 217 '68 Sport Satellite convertible 383 2bbl automatic.

Digging through the '69 Plymouth b-body pages in the "library" at Hamtramck-Historical should help.
