Sold my old reliable bowtie dually and picked up a '99 Dodge dually with a Cummins

My old controller was a cheap piece of $#!+. Would always be jerking the trailer around with no real fine tuning capabilities the brakes were either ON or OFF.

Pulling a 26' Tag with a total of 9,000# max including the trailer.

What do you use and how do you like it.
Looking at the Tekonsha P2 & P3's, have you used them? Your thoughts please.

Thanks, Greg

I have the Tekonsha P3 in my 2008 Ram and I love it. I'm pulling a 24' enclosed full of tools, '67 Barracuda, & golf cart and I cant believe how it stops so well. I have had other controllers in other trucks and they were all crap compared to the P3.

Yep, best out there IMO too. Tekonsha is a strong second. The Prodigy gives you 3 main levels of control plus a fine control thumb wheel for fine tuning each level.

Hands down, Prodigy.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

I have a P3 in my truck, seems to work well with a 26' tag.

I use PPL Super Store R.V. Parts based in Huoston,Texas 800-755-4775, they have stores all over the country, everything I've order so far has been on my door the next day for no extra charge on frieght I bought my Prodigy brake controller from them for my 2006 Dodge when I bought it in 2006 I had a cheaper Tekonsha controller on my 1998 1/2 2500 truck, it was no where near as nice to use as the newer Prodigy is IHTHs.

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
