at what port does the secondary vac lines hook up to? And at what rpm should the secondary's open up

center carb next to the choke pod, outboards next to secondary pod.different springs for different opening rates. lite for fast heavy for slow.

Here's a pic.

Choke pull-off from center tap on front of base plate.

Lower fitting on metering block to vacuum pods.

Upper fitting to distributor vacuum advance (if used, otherwise cap this fitting)

The RPM would depend on the springs you have in the secondairy and the load the engine is under.

The outboard carbs are opened by ported vacuum. Aas the motor starts to create vacuum under the center carb is wide open (basically when 350cfm is not enough). The secondaries ONLY open as needed - so you do not necessarily "feel" them open. The nice part of a vacuum system is it only gives the motor as much air as it can use which keeps it from bogging down from too much air.

Someone else can give there input but I was always told that the line for the ouboards went on the main body port next to the choke and the dist. line went on the port on the metering block.What is right Dayclona?
