I am trying to figure out the compression ratio on my 360. I'm running KB190-.030 pistons how do I figure out the piton top volume on these.

means you subtract 1.2 cc to total of gasket and head CC.
this is before any machining to give proper quench

say you mill nothing if you have 72 cc head and 8 cc for a composition gasket 72 + 8 - 1.2 = 78.8 compression chamber volume so 9.7 to 1.

Only real way to tell is down fill a cylinder and actually cc heads.

That only works with a .030 piston...What if you have .040 piston???

Mike,
Sorry you asked me about my engine build before and I dropped the ball and didn't get back. I will dig out my notes later today and post them. As It's suppose to get up into the ninety's and won't be doing much out in the garage.
