I'm trying to find out the engine designation in my 63 Dodge. The plate underneath the alternator area reads T36. I'm not sure if that represents a 361 or a 383.

I know the two designations are T31 and T36....

T is the year code for '63 which would be followed by the first two digits of the displacement. T36 is a 361, T38 is a 383 and T41 is a 413.
