What would be a good race fuel and octane rating for a 436 crate Hemi with 9.1 compression and would it make a difference over pump gas. Thanks

pump gas is fine you need no more. higher octanes burn slower and steal power

I agree...you don't need race gas. You will just lose power....

How big is your cam and what are your cranking compression #`s. I`m at 12.11 comp. but w/a fairly big cam and alum. heads I drive on 91 pump but mix 91 50/50 w/110 trick and went faster mixed than w/straight 110.
