I had a Mallory Dual point distributer with a Pertronics upgrade in it. Converted over to Mopar performance with a gold Box and plugs looked real lean had to jump jets from 76 to 88 in the rear. Is this common? I'm running VP110 and the plugs are just starting to look alittle gray.

I guess my worry is being new and just learning is going to big and washing down the cylinders. When you say MPH I take it you mean Mil per hour and not some other abbreviation. I don't have a weather station but Sunday here was very Humid and HOT how much of a role does this play in jet size?

Yes... MPH = mile per hour... temp and humidity have
a factor but jet it for the fastest MPH on the day your
testing... I will jet up or down 1 jet size for every
25* (if I feel like it to keep it optimized)... 1
jet size wont burn a piston if you were on before

Why is it we can have things running pretty good but we just can't leave well enough alone.

It's our nature. My kids got me a T-shirt for Dad's day that reads " race it, break it, repair it, Repeat."

I would love to have that T shirt. Did they find it on the internet?
