IIRC,yes the 90 roller cam will be a short nose cam IIRC the t sprocket is a diff thickness and has a diff washer bolt set up have them pull the 2 off the shelf and compair them

I don't think so, it isn't until the Magnum 318 came out that the roller cam changed. And I don't believe that happened till 91.
If it's still an LA 318 then it still uses the same timing set. Looke at the valve cover bolts, 5 means LA, 10 means Magnum (per cover).

Timing events are the same and they do interchange- I took a low miles double roller set that was from my 340 engine back in the 80's and just installed it on my 1994 5.9 Magnum engine.
I checked the cam timing events, everything was the same.
