Does anybody have pictures of these hooked up or having wire diagrams of the wires running to them.




Also, how about wiring diagrams of hooking up the factory tach.

The black connector goes to a negative ground coming off your carb, and the other connector should be coming off the wiring harness just behind your distributor.

As far as the tach, it's usually a tan wire going to the negative of your coil.

that unit is an electric timing retard unit to retard timing when at idle or start.
has nothing to do with tach operation.

Sorry, I can only help with the Holley but I imagine it would be pretty similar for the Carter. In the last pic I'm trying to show the ground wire going to the idle speed screw. I apologize for the low quality camera phone pics.
